Novartis is a Hall of Fame company.
Vas Narasimhan, CEO of Novartis, shared the work the company is doing through Beacon of Hope to close the health equity gap.
Beacon of Hope was launched two years ago by Novartis and the Novartis U.S. Foundation with the goal of addressing the root causes of racial disparities in health and education.
The initiative collaborates with 26 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, Coursera and other companies across the biopharmaceutical industry.
“We believe efforts like this, which center communities of color and are informed by their perspectives and experiences, will be critical to securing long-term health equity,” said Narasimhan.
